Professional Support

egyw conference 2Professional support, training and workforce development guidance for professionals working with young people are just some of the things we can offer.

We do this in a number of ways such as delivering bespoke training across the Units and co-ordinating time limited working groups on issues relevant to the sector at specific times. Our products and services can support the effective management and efficient delivery of services.

The RYWUs aim to bring together those responsible for Workforce Development in young people’s services and the voluntary youth sector. Most RYWUs facilitate a Regional Youth Work Trainers Group, bringing together workforce development commissioners from local authorities and providers from HE, FE, voluntary and private sectors to identify needs and find collaborative solutions.

RYWUs also deliver training opportunities to the field, and co-ordinate workforce development initiatives at regional level.
